Enforcement notices served on Southwark Council by the London Fire Brigade confirm my enquiries into poor fire safety checks in a number of high rise blocks. Leaked copies of the documents demonstrate that there were no Fire risk assessments on the damaged and similar blocks.

Culture around fire safety very weak and no individual at the local authority is responsible. Construction experts help establish the structural problems associated with fire spread still exist.

Research conclusion: Freedom of information requests to all local authorities needed to establish the scale of the problem.  The London Fire Brigade believes there is a widespread breach of the regulations but has no independent verification for this observation.  In fact it requests a copy of my research.
